SAFETY and UNITY

Our mission is to preserve our Hometown while embracing innovation and sustainable growth, fostering safety and unity in our close-knit community.

The Woodlands:
Our Hometown

As President of the Cochran’s Crossing Village Association, Tricia serves as the bridge between our community and the Township Board. She communicates directly with community partners to solve problems, giving residents a voice in local government. Her extensive understanding of the standards and covenants, as Chairman of the Cochran’s Crossing Residential Design Review Committee, means she is well-prepared to address the needs of residents and businesses alike.

Our Village Associations are the liaison between village residents and The Township. Enhancing their role will give residents a louder voice and will assist in problem
solving and help the board be more aware of all the issues impacting our community.

As we celebrate our 50th anniversary and welcome new residents, meticulous planning for the future is paramount. With population growth on the horizon, we’ll address aging infrastructure, collaborate with community partners for flood mitigation, and advocate for balanced mobility plans that honor George Mitchell’s vision in the face of increasing traffic demands.

Our Village Centers are vital community hubs, and we must prevent their decline. Panther Creek and Cochran’s Crossing Shopping Centers face challenges with outdated storefronts and vacancies. To revitalize them, we must explore solutions. As neighborhoods age, renovations will rise, and we should simplify the approval and permit process. Forming a committee to streamline these processes while upholding
The Woodlands’ standards is essential.

Our top priority is the safety and security of our residents. The Woodlands is growing and that’s a good thing, but we must be sure essential services and law enforcement priorities are growing, too! We must prioritize safety, aiming to become ‘The Safest City In America.’ This entails adding more police officers and enhancing community engagement programs and fostering a stronger sense of community spirit, the hometown of George Mitchell’s vision.
